Stuck Because Of Where You Are Or Because Of What You're Carrying?
You probably aren't feeling weighed down by a lack of opportunity or talent. Or maybe you are. And most of us are a bit buried under the things we haven't let go of, including the habits we've stopped questioning, the patterns we keep feeding, the noise we mistake for progress.
I've been convinced that adding more is not the way forward, but removing what is no longer serving you may just be. This idea isn't complex. You don't get stuck because you don't know what matters. You get stuck because you've convinced yourself that everything does.
What if it doesn't?
I offer you both a mirror and a map for how you might move differently through your world. Some might feel like permission (you certainly don't need mine), and others might sting a little (that's how you know they're working). Shall we continue?
•Delete everything but what's necessary
•You cannot overestimate the unimportance of practically everything
•If you don’t prioritize your life, someone else will
•You don't have to participate in it, but don't fight the trend
•Structure creates outcomes
•Everything takes longer and is harder than you think
•Avoid people who hand-wave and ignite when asked a simple question
•Be reliable
•Help other people win
•Take care of your body
•Take care of your mind
•Live below your means
•Treat your life as if it matters
•Take care of your relationships
•If it isn’t a clear yes, then it’s a clear no
PS The best candidates don't apply; you have to find them.
